Green Gulch Farm Student Housing
Overlooking the Green Gulch valley, this eight unit student housing building, designed by Helen Degenhardt of JSWD Architects, is built to ‘Passive House’ standards, a European -based system that establishes goals for very low energy consumption. It is extremely well insulated and sealed but then provides make-up air through an HRV system. Four pairs of rooms each share a bathroom and kitchenette.
