Stinson Beach
This Stinson Beach residence, designed by Turnbull Griffin and Haesloop Architects, has views to the North of Bolinas Lagoon and the Marin hills beyond, and to the South of the Seadrift Lagoon. This house, and the entire community is built on sand, requiring unusual considerations for the foundation and septic system. A large courtyard, with a hot tub and fire pit, is nestled between the two-bedroom wings and living room, and landscape features from there lead down to the water dock. The interior ceilings and exterior walls are cedar and the floors oak.
